Keyword Research

Now that our audits are completed, the next step is to do keyword research in order to find quality keywords. Quality keywords are those that:

  1. Are relevant to the client’s goals (it doesn’t pay to optimize for a service the client doesn’t offer)
  2. Have significant search volume to generate traffic (if there’s one one search per month for a topic, it does’n pay to optimize for it).
  3. Have minimal or moderate competition (it might be cost-prohibitive to try to rank for keywords that have very high competition — and the ROI might not be on the positive side).
